Most recently, Javeria Khan Richman served as the Chief of Progress Monitoring at Attuned Education Partners, a leader in education consulting. Javeria founded the progress monitoring service line. The service partnered with charter management organization executives and district superintendents to utilize qualitative and quantitative data in the leadership of a multi-year strategic plan. She developed an intuitive and practical data framework that is widely embraced for its easy and effective use.
Javeria joined Attuned from Success Academy Charter Schools, the highest performing charter network in the nation, where she managed all 47 of the network’s schools, serving 18,000 K-12 students. During her tenure, Javeria was responsible for all aspects of the schooling experience, including academic performance, student and family engagement, and teacher and leader development and retention. Javeria created a data-driven framework for monitoring and evaluating school health and performance across the network. She also translated management’s strategic vision into actionable initiatives for the network’s over 2,000 school-based team members. Prior to managing schools, Javeria was the principal of Success Academy Bed-Stuy 1. For each year of her three-year tenure, the school was ranked in the top 20 of all public elementary schools in New York State; it was the state’s top-performing school in math in 2016. The school was recognized nationally as a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence in 2018.
Prior to entering education, Javeria worked at Goldman Sachs and Merrill Lynch. Javeria holds a B.A. with high honors in Political Science from Rutgers University-New Brunswick and a J.D. from Rutgers Law School-Newark.
